Development of Biostimulants and Pharmaceuticals Using Synthetic Heavy-Heteroatom Organic Compounds

چکیده
高度で精密な生物機能の発現と調節の観点から、酸素・窒素と似て非なるイオウ・リンなどの第3周期以降の重ヘテロ元素を含む有機重ヘテロ元素化合物の触媒合成を基盤とした新しい化学領域を開拓した。安価なイオウ単体の直接利用法・塩基を使わない省エネルギー反応・可逆反応による有機重ヘテロ元素化合物の合成などの新しい合成方法論を提供した。加えて、一般に有機溶媒中で行われる遷移金属触媒反応を水中均一系で実施して、合成ペプチド・タンパク質の触媒的な化学修飾に展開した。これらの知見を基に酵素やタンパク質の動的挙動に着目して、生体親和性が高く柔軟な構造として2種の異なる複素環を1または3原子のヘテロ原子リンカーで連結した「非対称ビス複素環構造」を分子設計して、 in vivo で活性を有する新しい医農薬剤の開発研究を実施した。このような医農薬剤開発のアプローチは世界的に見て例がなく先導的である。
